Discover Robotilnica EU a platform including training programmes for kids: In eight-stage learning process the kids study how to create and programme robots with Lego Mindstorms, and solve complex and intriguing difficult assignments.

Colorado-based company Modular Robotics found a better way to let you achieve your robot-building dreams. The company manufactures MOSS cubes, each of which has a different mechanism. The cubes can then be connected in different ways by magnetically attaching them together with small steel spheres. Connect two blocks with four spheres, and they’re firmly locked together. Connect them with two? You’ve got a hinge.

Individually, the cubes don’t do much. But when they’re connected together, you can create hundreds of different robot combinations – like Legos come to life. And they’re neatly color coded so you know which block does what when you’re planning your creation.

It started nearly thirty years ago, when Ben Reardon encountered a robot playing a classical guitar at the 1988 World Expo in his hometown of Brisbane, Australia. He was only a teenager at the time, but he knew right then what he had to do.

Robi talks, includes more than 250 commands and is designed to join our lives everyday. He has very natural gestures and his eyes light up and change colour giving great expressiveness, creating an exciting and unprecedented interaction between humans and robots.

Robi dances to the rhythm of music issued from his internal speaker. He can also play a variety of games, including football and quizzes.

Robi can turn on the TV, change channels and adjust the volume, thanks to a special integrated infrared remote control*.
