Feelgood news of the day.  The Rotaract Club of Belmopan is refurbishing the playground at the hospital.  They also have pictures of what it looks like now.  Awesome work, Rotaractors!

"The day started early for the Rotaract Belmopan club as they continued an ongoing project to improve the play ground area at the Belmopan Hospital as part of Rotaract week.  The club had already painted the mural that can be seen on the wall near the playground and now they are working to improve the playground its with a new coat of paint and four new swings.  The initial idea was to go out and join them in the effort but as it turns out they had a 'small army' of people to do the work so no extra hands were needed.  These pictures were taken earlier in the morning so pictures of the completed work will be coming a bit later.  Overall, the club has been doing some great things and it is certain that more good stuff will be coming soon."

Both Rotary Week and Rotaract Week were this month, as well as World Rotary Day, but this has been an amazingly active month for all the clubs around Cayo, from Benque to SI to Belmopan.  They are finishing up the bathrooms at Howard Smith Nazarene.  They have started on bathrooms at New Life.  They had the big dedication at Rotary Park after having added new playground equipment.  They've fixed up Pedro Guerra Mena park.  They've cleaned up Parque de las Americas. And, they've inducted some new Rotaract members along the way too.

Thanks, Rotary and Rotaract, for never slowing down with all the wonderful work you've been doing around Cayo. 

In related news, they are getting ready for the 13th annual Voice of the West Contest, which will be on April 16th at Hode's.  And they've started up Sunday Bingo again.  The annual Wine and Cheese fundraiser is April 25th.
