"Kicking the whistle on someone", "being on the ball", "getting the ball rolling" and other phrases... these US sports idioms illustrate the language and will help EFL learners memorise and enrich their lexis. ----------------- I'm looking forward to melt this with lessons for my pupils... many of them are crazy about football and will be proud of getting to master such phrases :o)
