Hello Patricia, One aspect not touched was using features of your email program. By simply picking key contacts that you can highlight with colors, for example, allows you to scan your inbox much faster and ensure important emails are responded to quickly. Additionally, picking the right times to schedule yourself for email management is key. In my industry we have to groups, shipboard and shoreside. Understanding when key people will be working and sending important emails makes it easier to reply in a timely manner. Hope these tips add some value!

One of the top stressors for the executives and leaders I work with across industries and countries is managing email.
When I read this article, the tips ring true. I particularly agree with the advice: if you want to receive less emails...send fewer emails.
