Podcasts! This is information that we can listen to. This makes it appealing to all those auditory learners. My husband in particular loves his podcasts and is always listening to his favourite topics from his iphone!

This blog entry shares about the benefits of podcasts for instructors. I would also suggest Stitcher as a good podcast app for your mobile devices. If your interested in social work issues, then subscribe to the UB School of Social Work podcast, inSocialWork (www.inSocialWork.org).

Soundcloud is one of the first music platforms that come to mind when I think of music. I think it's great to see that they have made changes and are incorporating a system that allows users to easily publish podcasts across multiple services. This allows for musicians to be discovered. I rarely listen to the radio now and always rely on streaming services to listen to music or podcasts. With new technology that we are constantly getting it's great to see that they make it easier for artists to get discovered.

This is another great article aimed at the educational advancement side of podcasting and podcasting technology. The future is definitely going to be aimed at a more on the go experience and with that will come our education. Having podcasts and insight on a topic at your finger tips gives you practically endless knowledge. Educators are now more inclined then ever to bring podcasts to the table to help students learn from new sources, and whenever they find the time available. Many schools are faced with having to teach students from home and this is the most efficient way to do so . Id say the source is very reliable as it is just sharing some common information on the subject matter. I would also says it is not a major informational resource for the audio industry. |

I found this an interesting clip. I didn’t find the technology recommended that helpful because it was quite expensive. I did find the information about the importance of structure of a topic and the value of the information with the podcast helpful with how to create a podcast.
