"Do Share is a Chrome extension that lets you update your Google+ profile / page(s), and Communities from any tab in your browser.

Posts can be scheduled or sent right away, saved as drafts, or deleted. The tool supports links, Hashtag autocomplete, mentions, reshares, and photo uploads.


"Do Share also comes with a basic text editor, and several other features. For example, you can create polls, and share comments and updates directly from your Google+ stream and notifications panel.


"And the icing on the cake: The extension works offline!"

It’s about time you give some love to Google+, a social media platform set to attract more people not only because of its new dressed up interface, but also by the recent features added.

 

Google+ is obviously betting big on photos as it launches its ability to “auto awesome” images uploaded to it. Its mobile app came through with its refreshing updates as well. All in all, it has been a very active month for Google+ and the new wave of features is projected to increase its social networking share.

If you were waiting for Google to release a screen-sharing feature inside the Hangout real-time collaboration platform, that time has come.

 

In the next 48 hours Google will be rolling out to all Google+ users the ability to screen-share during any hangout session.

 

From Christopher Johnson G+ post: "When we launched Hangouts with Extras last September, we wanted to test new features and get feedback from users.

 

We’ve learned a lot over the past few months, and today we’re rolling out a new Hangouts look and feel that incorporates some of the “extras,” and better reflects Google’s overall design ( http://goo.gl/gG1NA ).

 

Highlights include:

 

- Screensharing: share what’s on your computer screen with everyone in the hangout. This is the first of many extras we’re graduating to Hangouts proper.

 

- Bigger video: we’ve put more emphasis on the live video itself by optimizing white space and other screen elements."

Google+ unveiled itself to the public amidst a chorus of praise and adulation from techies all over the globe. Unfortunately, it also earned a good amount of scorn from individuals who were not ready to grasp the unique philosophy Google+ was promoting. That philosophy is one of openness.

 

Unlike Facebook, Google+ is designed to connect strangers, and inspire collaboration and contribution. It has proven to be an amazing platform for promoting ideas, brands and people.

 

Since its early rollout, Google+ has forced competitors to begin evolving, inspiring platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to develop new ways of thinking about social media and the functionality they offer.

Although the lights are on and it seems like nobody is home, trust me: there are people there. And they are the very people who can have a huge impact on your blog and business.

 

Why Google+ isn’t going anywhere

 

Google+ is designed to draw you away from both Twitter and Facebook. And in time, it could do this.

 

Yes, Facebook has over 800 million users. People like to state that number and then say “Facebook isn’t going anywhere.” Fair enough. But people do migrate. It happened to AOL. And it could happen to Facebook. In fact, former Facebook president Sean Parker says influencers are already moving from FB to Twitter and Google+.
