SARAH JANE MORRIS - "Ever Gonna Make It"

"Ever Gonna Make It" is taken from the album "Fallen Angel" (IRMA 491900-2 - 1998) available on www.msol.biz Intense, passionate and sensual, singer Sara Intense, passionate and sensual, singer Sarah Jane Morris has built her fame without compromise, thanks to a love for music that comes from her heart and crosses jazz, blues and funk. The critics refer to Sarah's voice as reminding of Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday, but her own description is 'Nina Simone meets Janis Joplin', two of her main inspirations. To celebrate her 25 years of career IRMA records have put together a double CD titled 'After All These Years' that covers her seven solo albums plus a selection of her main collaborations through out the years. Like the hit 'Don't Leave Me This Way' byThe Communards (where Sarah sang together with Jimmy Somerville) which went to no.1 in the European charts in 1986 or the winning song at the 1992 Italian Sanremo Festival (with Riccardo Cocciante) 'I'm Missing You'. The songs included in this collection are from Sarah's repertoire that goes from pop hits to jazz-soul standards, all revisited with the four octave range of her voice. Intimate acoustic productions (often together with top guitarist and producer Marc Ribot) along with live and studio recordings made with her band of experienced rock and soul musicians.

COMFORT ZONE Sarah Jane Morris - Antonio Forcione

COMFORT ZONE ( Sarah J Morris - Antonio Forcione) This song Comfort Zone was written by Sarah Jane Morris and Antonio Forcione, about the murder of sex workers in Ipswich, many years ago. The song started life as a poem as a response to the disturbing news. Violence against women is on the rise and we need to take a stand.
Sarah jane and Antonio are in the middle of recording an album called 'Compared To What', which they hope to release in Autumn 2016.
