Josh Ostrovsky, also known as “The Fat Jewish” or the “Fat Jew,” is making a new name for himself as an Instagram sensation. What started as an outlet to simply share funny memes and pictures has turned into a full-time job for Ostrovsky.

What started out as a funny joke is now turning into a mudslinging war of words. After the topless photo of the comedienne was initially removed, Handler reposted it and wrote that if Instagram removed it again, "You're saying Vladimir Putin has more 1st amendment rights than me." Handler's pose mimics a much mocked (but never censored) shot of the Russian leader, topless, on horseback.

For brides and grooms: To hashtag or not to hashtag, that is the question.

As Facebook gets even more corporate, Instagram is growing as a space for authentic blogging. Or something. You get 2,200 characters. 

Instagram feeds — those treasure-troves of personal photo galleries — often are bonanzas of decadent meals, brilliant sunsets and perfectly poised centerpieces. These slices of life might be authentic moments, but often our daily life doesn't resemble these carefully curated slide shows.

Instagram banned a picture of a fully clothed woman, poet Rupi Kaur, twice because it showed her period stain. She fought back. And won.

The photos that are "breaking the Internet". Not particularly safe for work (NSFW), but(t) this is 2014....

With major brands on board, some 15-second spots have already hit the popular photo-sharing platform.
