Sport is suppose to be pure competition between human being, based on the individual merits and talents of men and women. That is why we have referees and rules : As a rule of nature, in sport we are not all equal. 


That is also why the debate around performance enhancing drugs and technological and scientific advancements in this domain are so controversial:  technology and sport go hand in hand yet they hinder sport as a competition.  Using performance enhancing technology surely means that everybody and anybody could win? Most probably he or she with the most money and/or sponsorship! 


Where should we draw the line, and can we draw the line in the face of ever-advancing technology an innovation?


This article suggests that its up to sportsmen and sportswomen as well as spectators to know when to say stop.
