Rheinland-Pfalz und Luxemburg wollen bei der grenzüberschreitenden Berufsausbildung noch enger zusammenarbeiten. Eine Vereinbarung mit Vorhaben werden die rheinland-pfälzische Ministerpräsidentin Malu Dreyer (SPD) und der luxemburgische Premierminister Xavier Bettel am (heutigen) Montagmittag in Senningen in Luxemburg unterzeichnen.

Ein Fokus liegt auf Berufen im Sozialwesen: So können Luxemburger in Fachschulen in Trier und Prüm zu Erziehern ausgebildet werden. Bei der Vereinbarung mit im Boot sind die Industrie- und Handels- sowie die Handwerkskammern.

Die Vereinigten Staaten sind mit derzeit etwa 900 Millionen Dollar der größte Einzelspender des Flüchtlingshilfswerks der Vereinten Nationen UNHCR, gefolgt von der Europäischen Union mit etwa 415 Millionen Dollar. Ein genaueres Bild des Spendenaufkommens ergibt sich durch die Aufschlüsselung pro Einwohner.

Wie unsere Infografik von Statista zeigt, sehen die Vereinigten Staaten dann weitaus weniger spendabel aus, mit gerundet etwa drei Dollar pro Einwohner.

Mit 16 Dollar führt Luxemburg die Liste an.

Deutschland zahlte 2017 insgesamt etwa 290 Millionen Dollar ein, umgerechnet vier Dollar pro Kopf.

Für die Entwicklung computergesteuerter Autos soll auch Luxemburg in eine grenzüberschreitende Teststrecke zwischen Deutschland und Frankreich einbezogen werden. Die Erweiterung wollen Minister der drei Länder am 14. September bei der Internationalen Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) in Frankfurt besiegeln, wie aus einer Mitteilung des deutschen Bundesverkehrministeriums von Freitag hervorgeht.

During the CES in Las Vegas, ZF Friedrichshafen, a leading car systems supplier announced the selection of CarPay-Diem to be added to its Car eWallet solution as a service provider for fueling capabilities.

Over the last months, ZF in partnership with UBS and IBM has been in development of the Car eWallet, a mobility transaction platform, that allows a full end-to-end integration of mobility services, vehicles and infrastructure. It will enable secure and convenient payments ‘on the go’ for services like parking, charging and now fueling based on CarPay-Diems technology.

“Connecting the Car eWallet technology to the CarPay-Diem platform will allow connected and in the future autonomous cars to pay for the fuel refills while providing the greatest driver experience.”

Thanks to this partnership, when a car equipped with the Car eWallet arrives in a fuel station, the driver selects his pump number on the display of the dashboard, he is then invited to refill the tank. When the nozzle is placed back on the pump the transaction is completed. CarPay-Diem managed the fuel station processes and confirmed the driver that he can leave the fuel station. A simple and straight forward user experience which conveniently saves time for drivers. All refill transactions remain available in the Car eWallet for later use or reporting purpose for example.

Le CEO de l’un des plus gros acteurs suisses de la gestion de fortune a annoncé avoir choisi Luxembourg pour y déménager son hub européen jusqu’alors établi en Allemagne.

Interrogé ce lundi sur Bloomberg TV, Boris Collardi, le jeune CEO (43 ans) de Julius Baer Group – une position qu’il occupe depuis l’âge de 35 ans –, a indiqué que «pour des raisons stratégiques», la banque d’origine suisse allait déménager son hub européen de Francfort à Luxembourg.
