A groundbreaking ceremony held on Thursday 28 January 2021 marked the start of the multi-million production plant extension project of B Medical Systems in Hosingen in northern Luxembourg.
His Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Prince Guillaume, the Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, and the Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert, joined the CEO of B Medical Systems, Luc Provost, and the Mayor of Parc Hosingen, Romain Wester, at this ceremony, which marked the extension of the manufacturing facilities of B Medical Systems in Luxembourg. The new plant will be located next to the existing manufacturing facility of the company in Hosingen.
The ceremony also witnessed the signing of a co-financing agreement with B Medical Systems by Economy Minister Franz Fayot, in the presence of the Hereditary Grand Duke, Health Minister Paulette Lenert and Deputy CEO of B Medical Systems, Jesal Doshi.
B Medical Systems is a global leader in the vaccine cold chain industry and is a leading medical refrigeration solution provider. The company manufactures ultra-low freezers, vaccine refrigerators, freezers and transport boxes used for storing and transporting vaccines including COVID-19 vaccines across the world.
