In this article, Shulman describes both the possibilities of Smart Technologies and the beneficial impact it has on education as well as the pitfalls of it. Educators and other stakeholders should accept their responsibility in the ethical use of smart technologies in education.
I strongly believe that with proper use and management, smart technologies can benefit education for children tremendously and outweigh the pitfalls it may have when using it properly.

It frustrates me when I want to try something new but I'm told I can't and they don't even know the reason why. |

We can spend all the money in the world on adding gadgets to the classroom and training teachers in how to use them, but the bottom line is, kids don't learn or perform well when they are hungry.

Such a great article about how technology is not the most important thing in a classroom. I agree entirely with this article. Teacher have a very challenging job. They do not just work to meet the educational needs of every child, but also their emotional and social needs. Technology can not replace a teacher. Also having technology does not make your classroom an innovative class. Teachers are given devices but have not idea how to utilize them. They feel pressured to integrate it into their lessons but struggle when faced with other factors such as students with behavioral and emotional issues.
