SpaceX Starlink Falcon 9 Launch | For the First Time Ever, SpaceX Will Reuse Payload Fairing

SpaceX is set to take its bold recycling initiative one step further next week. After a three-month halt in orbital launches for SpaceX, the company has begun making a return to launch action. SpaceX plans to launch a batch of its Starlink broadband satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket that has previously flown three times and will use a fairing that flew in April.


The SpaceX launch set for November 11 will mark the first Falcon 9 mission to use a payload fairing from a previous flight, the company announced Tuesday, 5th November, shortly after SpaceX engineers at Cape Canaveral test-fired the mission’s first stage booster

WASHINGTON — A U.S. Air Force X-37B spaceplane made a pre-dawn landing Oct. 27 at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, after spending 780 days in orbit, breaking its own record by 62 days.


The Air Force said the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle-5 (OTV-5) mission officially ended at 3:51 a.m. Eastern with a successful runway landing at NASA’s Shuttle Landing Facility. The mission originally launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket Sept. 7, 2017.
