In order to find success in real estate, you need to be diverse.
It requires you to extend your efforts over multiple channels in order to find those hidden leads. In many cases what works for you won't work for someone else. But there are several channels that work for everyone - it just depends how exactly you exercise your talents within that specific channel.
So take a look at what Lynn Pineda has offered here. It may shed some light on which channels you've been ignoring. These may very well prove to be the tipping point between another average year and your best year yet!

Thanks, Kyle and Bill. I agree with Bill. Just do it, Kyle. do some informal Hangouts with friends to get a feel of it then when you're comfortable, do a HOA. Because it's uploaded to your YouTube channel, it the content that never stops ;-)

Social media can be confusing, overwhelming, and very time consuming. That being said it is also an invaluable tool for building client relationships and for lead generation. Make the time to learn as much as you can and put a system in place that works for you.

Bill Gassett is a top-producing Realtor in Framingham, Mass., with more than two decades of real estate experience. Bill has more than 28,000 Google+ users in his circles and over 15,000 Twitter users follow Bill’s profile pages. If you ask Bill “If you could only use one social media site, which one would it be and why? He will answer “Without question it would be Google+. This is interesting to me because here in Ontario, Canada, only about 25% of the real estate contacts I have on Linkedin are on Google+. And, that’s probably because many of them are looking for places to post their latest listings, and that’s not Google+. For Bill, Google+ is more than just a social network; it’s a tool that is integrated with Google, and Google means visibility. By participating in Google+, you not only become more visible with your peers but also with people searching for real estate related topics. Google authorship goes hand in hand with using Google+. Google Authorship is claiming the content you write so that when Google displays search results they may possibly display your photo next to the result. |

Promoting your online content is crucial. It's perhaps the most important aspect of the content marketing game. But how do you do this? While it's great to post your content on each social network, it's even more advantageous to dive deeper. By this, I mean groups. These are concentrated communities of people who are looking for content on a specific topic. If you can provide advice within this niche, then you'll attract a much more valuable set of eyeballs. Google Plus has a surprisingly active user base, and their communities attract lots of engagement.

Here's 99 Blog Topics To Help You Become A More Consistent Real Estate Blogger! |
If you are a real estate agent and have not put Pinterest at the top of the list for content marketing then you are missing out on some significant social media traffic to your website.
Many real estate agents who use Pinterest well report it is the #1 traffic source to their website or blog. I can attest to this being the case as it is easily the best source of traffic to my real estate blog.
The beauty of Pinterest is the fact that the shelf like of the content you share is endless. Unlike most social media channels where what you share loses momentum over time, is not the case with Pinterest.
One of the absolute best ways to get traction is to join the top real estate group boards. By doing so your content get seen by far more people than what you would get from just your profile.
Pinterest group boards often have a significant amount of people who are continuously sharing focused real estate content. Membership is typically high which means one thing - MORE EXPOSURE!
So are you are real estate agent or just someone who enjoys reading great real estate content? If so then be sure to read the article and find out the best group board for Realtors on Pinterest.
By joining the group boards you will grow your following and ultimately get your content seen by far more people.
A word to the wise - make sure you follow the board rules to a tee. It is very easy to get removed from group boards when you don't follow the rules.
Another important tip that real estate agents should follow is to limit sharing real estate listings. You will never get any traction by doing so. Unless you are marketing a mansion, it is unlikely anyone will be pinning your 2 bedroom condo.
Take a look and request to join the best real estate group boards by emailing the owner.
