During the Transit of Venus in the 18th century countries at war paused hostilities and co-operated in allowing scientists safe passage to take measurements that significantly increased our knowledge of the Universe. For the 2012 Transit of Venus on World Environment Day, artist Lynette Wallworth has created a fulldome work about climate change and coral reefs, reminding us of the importance of global co-operation towards the environment.
