Le "vampate di calore" o "calori notturni" rientrano nelle manifestazioni più tipiche della menopausa, vengono percepite come una sensazione di forte calore accompagnata da sudorazioni e tachicardia e possono risultare estremamente fastidiose. Le 187 partecipanti allo studio hanno riportato, dopo circa 5 sessioni di ipnosi, la scomparsa o la diminuzione in media dell'80% delle "vampate di calore", senza dover ricorrere alle tradizionali terapie ormonali, che comportano potenziali effetti dannosi per la salute. Una ricerca interessante da tenere d'occhio. Che ne pensate?
