As a video game enthusiast myself, I totally agree that games would be a great tool for engaging learners. In an ITD classroom there are are plenty of games that I think would awesome for allowing students to consider the design features of products or buildings. Testing out architectural designs by creating a floor plan/a building using Minecraft (not in survival mode!) comes to mind...

There are plenty of books you can purchase on the authors website. There are also plenty of good tips on how games are enjoyed by everyone to learn.
