The two sports biz giants announced last year that they planned to merge. Turns out that this was nothing more than a fantasy itself. Last month, the FTC announced that they planned to sue and block the merger in order to prevent the potential formation of a monopoly.
Now, the Kings of daily fantasy will have to continue their Duel for industry leadership (as well as continuing to work separately to legalize daily fantasy sports across the US).
