Another character witness, a forner Second Mile participant, spoke of how great of a man Jerry Sandusky always was, and also hinted at the possibility of investigators trying to get him to report abuse that never happened.

Dr. Jonathan Dranov, the doctor who was told about the 2001 shower incident by Mike McQueary, testified today. 

According to Dr. Dranov, McQueary did not provide many details, but was visibly shaken by what he had seen.

Before lunch, Amendola tried to paint a picture of the Victims trying to make money off of the case.

We're starting to see that the defense doesn't really have much besides a few people talking about a great of a guy they think Jerry Sandusky is.

Anthony Sassano, a special investigator from the Attorney General's office, testified today after lunch.

Victim 6 testified this morning and told stories of being touched inappropriately in the shower by Jerry Sandusky. The defense, however, brought up many traces of evidence of a continued relationship between Victim 6 and Sandusky, even in recent years. A police detective then testified that Victim 6 told him during a 1998 investigation that he was never touched inappropriately by Sandusky. The detective also said that he decided that there was no reason to press charges at that time, and he told Sandusky not to shower with boys anymore and Sandusky agreed.

A Lasch Football Building janitor testified that he saw Sandusky showering with a boy in 2000.

"On November 4th, Mr. Sandusky’s life came to an end. Mrs. Sandusky’s life came to an end. Their children’s lives came to an end. Everything they ever believed in was challenged."

“We found out in this trial that a lot of these kids knew each other,” Amendola said. He showed a paper on the screen which showed the significant time overlap of the alleged abuses. Amendola said, “If you believe their testimony, Mr. Sandusky was a very busy man.”

“Dottie Sandusky — who adopted six kids — was always in this house. Could all of this sex be going on? Use your common sense."

In his closing statement this morning, Joe Amendola alluded to the impossibility of all of the Victims' stories being true, because Jerry Sandusky simply would have been too busy to be doing all of that at the same time.

He also heavily implied that the Victims were exaggerating stories to win money out of the case.

Will the jury agree that there is simply no evidence to prove him guilty?

A bunch of people spoke of what a great man Sandusky is this morning in court.

He did many nice things for many children, but does this mean that he is incapable of abuse?

The prosecution dropped one charge against Sandusky this morning, bringing the number down to 51.

Victim 9 took the stand this afternoon in what was perhaps the most graphic testimony so far.

Victim 3's testimony confirms the existence of a routine that Sandusky apparently stuck to with each of the young boys that he allegedly sexually abused.

Victim 5 emotionally described an incident in the Lasch Football building shower with Sandusky.
