Lisa - have you ever tried a sponsored post and paid the 5 cents extra to make sure those that visit your page are staying there? That is what I would recommend for a post you want a little extra juice for.

If you read one thing about content marketing this week, make it this. An excellent roundup of BS things "experts" say about content, complete with hilarious videos and snarky rebuttals. (Get ready for a really meta sentence.) This piece on content marketing is excellent content marketing for Joel of Business Casual Copywriting. I will certainly be subscribing to his site. Preview: "Going Viral" is not a strategy. Content Strategists and Content Marketers are different. Guest blog. Know your limits/abilities.

Pinterest is an excellent website for personal use but also a great tool for business owners! If you have a website or blog, you should have a "PIN IT" button tool installed. It makes it extremely easy for Pinterest users to "PIN" your websites/blogs photos!

There is no question that social media can be a major time suck when done right. There are many who think social media is about link dropping and never see any benefit because they never form any relationships who are within the platform using them daily.
If this is what you do then you will never be a social media winner. Social media can be something that can help your business when you commit the necessary time to do so.
